DT 30:15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction.
Dissipation and accumulation is basically just the principle of losing or gathering while you go back
and forth with an addiction problem. You will notice that when you are fully practicing your addiction that you progressively
start losing everything good and valuable in your life, but when you sincerely turn away from your addiction then things begin
to turn around again and everything you lost starts to come back to you.
JN 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life,
and have it to the full.
The reason this is important is because when we quit our addiction we can become afraid to face life
without it so we can sabotage God's plan to restore us and relapse back into the losing phase where everything goes away again.
You cannot practice addiction and keep the things you love and value in your life because the forces of evil have legal spiritual
rights to take them. Addiction always takes more than it gives.
GE 4:7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin
is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it."
Even though most of us are trying to manage a chemical imbalance we must find healthy ways of meeting
our stress needs because if we use addiction pleasure to do it then we automatically bring a curse upon ourselves that opens
the door for evil to steal everything. God wants us to let Him help us to master our problems so that we suffer no further
loss. Allow God to lead you into His plan to restore your life today.
JER 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
