JER 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity.

Even though most of our life may get destroyed after we have practiced addiction, it is important to know that God has plans for you to restore what was lost and to use you to help others. God can give you a new fresh start no matter how damaged or destroyed your life has been because of addiction. You may have lost your marriage, children, job, health, finances, possessions, freedom, good reputation, and self respect because of your time of practicing addiction, but no matter how ruined your life may seem right now, God has plans to bless you, restore you, and to use you in a great way if you will continue to let Him be in control of your recovery, and to lead you. God has a plan to put things back together if you will trust Him and be willing to be patient, know today that God wants to give you a new hope and a future.
