JER 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
There is really so much in the above scripture because after addiction we can feel pretty depleted
and doubtful. Since we have undergone so much apparent loss it can be hard to have the faith that we need to trust that God
wants better things for us, but He definitely does. We must have hope and faith again in order to believe for better things
to come. We need to stop just surviving and be willing to thrive and receive God blessing. God has plans to prosper you
so you just need to discover what His particular plan to prosper you is.
The following are just guidelines that can help you to get out of debt after addiction and if followed
properly, you will progressively start to see a turnaround. Try to remember that your situation didn't get this way overnight,
and it may take a little time to turn things back around again. But they will turn around. Here are the guidelines:
1. Stop spending your money on sinful things (i.e. things that you use to commit sin)and just know
that when you stop God can then legally bless you again. Spend your money on right things and do not hide or stash money or
things away. Let God tell you what to buy and do not spend money you don't have. Check your motives as to why you are buying
things. Also, when you stop practicing all sin your faith level for God's help will also rise because you will not feel like
God is angry at you all the time.
2. Ask God specifically what His financial restoration plan for you is and be willing to do whatever
He wants you to do to begin making more money no matter how degrading you might think it is at first. Some things may start
small and humiliating, but can quickly grow into something very wonderful and prosperous. Let go of any preconceived ideas
about how you think God must restore you like winning the lottery, or getting some big instant financial miracle. God does
do big financial miracles but this can be a distraction to us if we are not willing to do other things to make it happen.
The main thing is to just stay open and willing to whatever God wants to do.
3. Start giving out of your need to people or ministries that God shows you to give to and that look
like fertile soil to sow into. Ministries that really help needy people are good ministries to give to and God will kind of
tap you on the shoulder as to which one He wants you to give to. You may not have much, but give out of what little you have
any way, even if it is your last penny because God sees your gift no matter how small. You can also give your time, ministry,
and work to others as a gift.
MK 12:41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting
their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very
small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. 43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth,
this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of
her poverty, put in everything--all she had to live on."
LK 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running
over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
4. Lastly, seek God and what He wants and needs to change in you first before getting too distracted
over your desperate financial state. God knows every critical need that you have, every creditor that calls to harass you;
every physical, mental, or dental need that you and your family have, and He truly wants to help you. God must obey His own
financial laws though, so we must untie His hands by forsaking all financial disobedience, and begin to practice financial
obedience in all areas of our life.
MT 6:31 So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we
wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first
his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Things are about to turn around for you my friend if you are willing to do things God's way financially.
When you get out of your survival mentality and take the step of faith to meet someone else's need, you will start to see
your own needs being met. If you want to take a step of faith and you feel led by God you can also give to this ministry as
well. I do not believe in begging or pressuring people for money, but I do believe in telling them the truth about God's principles
of reciprocity so that He can bless and help them. Btw, you can give and donate on this website by clicking on

MAL 3:8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me.
"But you ask, `How do we rob you?'
"In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse--the whole nation of you--because you are robbing
me. 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty,
"and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough
for it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit," says
the LORD Almighty. 12 "Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land," says the LORD Almighty.
