He Is Rising in You

MK 16:9 When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.

Mary Magdalene had had a pretty rough life; she was a prostitute and heavily demonized from being involved in many different types of activities that I'm sure many of us can relate to today. Even when Jesus first met her she was about to be stoned to death by an angry mob and I'm sure she was thinking about her life and just how wrong things had gone. But God had plans to bring life out of death for her and He will do the same thing for you today.

JN 20:15 "Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?"

Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him."

JN 20:16 Jesus said to her, "Mary."

She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher).

Many things may have gone wrong in your life and you may have failed terribly, but Jesus Christ has been with you all along and He is about to reveal Himself to you in a whole new way. You may have been crying over many things that have either happened or not happened in your life but God has plans to use you in a great way if you will let Him. Jesus Christ is showing up for His people and it is time for us to grab on to Him and find new life.

MT 28:8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."
