Ghost In A Shell
When we first start out with an addiction things seem alright for a while and we even have a sense of being in
control of what is going on. But in time we lose more and more control and the addiction takes more and more control away
from us, and then we leave what is considered normal life and we start down a dangerous path of death that we just hope doesn't
suddenly run out on us. If you have ever went deep into addiction then you know what I am talking about. You can actually
feel yourself dying inside and you feel dark and doomed. After a while we can get so weary that we just give up and we feel
like a ghost just living in the shell of a body just waiting to die.
RO 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
When we are busy with our addiction we are working hard every day to get our fix so that we can feel
safe and comforted in life, but with each episode we get paid back with more and more death in one form or another. We slowly
watch our life die more and more until there is no sign of life left in it. I want to give you hope today that no matter how
dead your life has become that Jesus Christ can breathe new life into it if you are willing to ask Him to help you. It's time
for you to return to life again my friend instead of collecting another paycheck of death. God will give you what you really
need and heal you at the root where the pain is really coming from. Choose life today.
JN 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life,
and have it to the full.
